I find a lot of clients have the same questions about boudoir. I've done my best to answer the most common ones for you here. Make sure to navigate to my "boudoir" section above for photos, reviews, and a peek inside my studio! Also, don't forget to sign up below to get my boudoir welcome guide with the rest of the details you'll need before your session. I hope to meet you soon!
Q: I’ve never done this before! What should I expect?
A: That’s great! Most of my clients haven’t done a session before. I HIGHLY recommend setting up a meeting with me! We can set up a simple video call, that way you can see my studio and albums, and we can address all your concerns. I promise it’ll make the day of shooting much more comfortable for both of us.
Q: Where will my session take place?
A: I have a studio in my home in Nampa where I shoot all my boudoir sessions. It’s totally private and beautiful! If you’re looking for a style other than what I can offer in my studio, there’s always the option to do your session in a hotel (of my choice for an additional fee) or your home if you choose. We can discuss those details once we meet.
Q: Is hair and make up included?
A: Hair and Make up is not included in my regular session fee. I do have a few fantastic girls that I use a lot and can recommend to you if you’d like!
Q: Can I bring a friend to my session?
A: Yes you can! A friend can be fun to bring along for support. I allow one friend, since space is limited, and only ask that you bring a supportive, positive, friend that you’re comfortable around. If you feel that you’d be more uncomfortable having another pair of eyes on you I wouldn’t suggest it. It’s all about feeling great and having fun during my sessions. No negative Nancy’s please! 😉
Q: I have a mommy tummy, can you photoshop me?
A: I work with lot’s of mommies! Trust me I have some secret poses up my sleeve that will flatter your body!
Q: I have bad skin, stretch marks, cellulite, etc. do you edit that?
A: Don’t you worry, I’ve got you covered!
Q: I’m really not comfortable with X part of my body, do I have to be nude?
A: Absolutely not! Most of my girls keep some form of clothing on the entire session. Your comfort is the most important thing to me. If I suggest something you don’t like just let me know!
Q: These photos are a surprise for my husband. Can you please not share them on your website?
A: I LOVE surprises! It’s completely up to if I get to share any of your photos. Most of my beauties don’t want their gorgeousness plastered all over town (it’s a shame really) If there are any photos I’d like to use I will always approve with you first! You’ll notice most of the photos on my site don’t show my client’s faces for that exact reason.
Q: How many outfits should I bring? What should I bring?
A: I suggest bringing three or four outfits. Really the more the better in case you’re not feeling one you put on you’ll have options to change into. I do have a few options in the studio as well as tights, jewelry, garter belts, and heels that you can use. I encourage you to bring any jewelry, shoes, or special meaning items as well.
Q: Will I get to see photos while we’re shooting?
A: Yes! I’ll show you one or two during shooting to make sure you know how amazing you look!
Q: When will my photos and album be ready?
A: Your gallery will be up within a week. In most cases 2-3 days. Your album takes a week to come in once ordered.
