My latest wedding was held at the Adelmann building downtown.  I LOVE that place and all it’s original bits and pieces.  This wedding was a fun little flash back for me (and also made me feel my age).  I went to middle school with the bride, a bridesmaid, and a few guests.  We spent a lot of time as teens having fun running a muck all over town.  I remember Joanna’s parents were the strict ones so if we stayed at her house we had to sneak out of her window if we wanted to be out past curfew… hope I didn’t get anyone in trouble by saying that .  Anyway, I am so glad I was chosen to be a part of Joanna and Alec’s special day.  I don’t know what my life would be like if I hadn’t got to taste her mom’s amazing cheesecake!  Congratulations you guys and thank you for having me!!

It’s here yay!!!!!  I had so much fun putting together this shoot and so happy to have people that wanted to help and make this happen with me!  If you’ve ever wondered what happens during my boudoir sessions this video pretty much sums it up.  Of course we can’t show you ALL the fun stuff that happens, which is the best part of course, so for that you’ll have to book your own session to see.  Thank you so much to my model Tiffany,  Arleigh for doing such great hair and make-up, my DAD for helping me with the tunes and Tamara for putting this video together for me!  So. Much. FUN!!

I started my Sunday morning off at sunrise with this ADORABLE family!  Man, I don’t think it gets any sweeter!  I’m a little obsessed with a few things from this session….. the light, the love, the baby locks, the baby toes, the baby dimple, the baby eyes, the baby cry, the baby room… sigh  Enjoy!

There’s nothing like spending a beautiful Friday evening taking photos of a great couple!  I said it during the session and I’m saying it again…. these two are sooooo sweet, cute, and EASY to work with!!  SO excited for their October wedding (hence the black and orange) in Oregon.  They (we) couldn’t be a better match for each other!

SO, I’m back from my vacation to Florida!  It was fantastic!!   You can see photos photos from it HERE.   I’ve missed the beach for so long and get so nostalgic when I’m there.  As the saying goes, I needed a vacation from my vacation for sure.  It’s a new week and I’m back at it and ready to start shooting in the beautiful weather!  I have some great stuff coming up and will be releasing a boudoir promo video here soon that I’m stoked about!  For now, I bring you my Spring boudoir special YAY!!!  Also don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter if you want to be the first to hear about specials or exciting news!

Oh how I just love little girls.  These three are just beautiful!  Little Miss M is sweet, sassy, smart and FULL of energy.  One of my favorite parts of this session is not only that I got to spend the morning with these beauties, but the cereal.  Oh how little M LOVED her cereal and just couldn’t let her bowl leave her side.  Sigh…. too dang precious is all I have to say!

Warning!  I had too much fun doing this session and had a hard time narrowing down photos to share.  There are far too many photos for a sneak peek that’s for sure!  BUT I don’t care, I love them all.

Is it really March already?!  The months are flying by and soon enough it will be spring yaya!!  I know I’ve been MIA lately and felt I needed to post an update.  I am part of a huge project that has taken up a lot of my time, and I’m also working on some other exciting ventures.  I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with the amazing people over at [Framed].  I am lucky enough to be a part of a few episodes for Season 3 and the new show Film that will premiere on the [F]Network this May!  Something you’ll definitely want to check out… I can assure you it’s going to be amazing!  So, most of my time lately has been consumed with meeting new people and photographers and learning new things about this wonderful and crazy business I’m in.

I also need to make it known that I will be out of town April 14th-19th spending some much needed time on the beach in Florida (I’m really not bragging, promise).  SO if you need to get some family photos in or want to do a boudoir session soon please contact me asap!  I will be trying to relax as much as possible while I’m gone so I am limiting my technology use to the bare minimum.  It just doesn’t seem right making a post without a photo so I’ll leave you with a recent self portrait (something I’m trying to do more of, I’m a weirdo).  Toodles!

Doing this session was SO much fun!  Not only are these two great to photograph, but being around Joanna brought back so many fun memories!  We used to be buds in middle school and high school and her laugh made me think of all the fun(trouble) we used to get into.  Actually, I think she was the one getting in trouble… not me!  Anyway, these guys were so great to work with and easy in front of the camera.  I can’t wait for their wedding, they will be such pros now!  Here are a few of my favs from our session…
