A couple weeks ago some of my photographer friends and I did a fun styled shoot in Boise.  I can’t tell you how lucky I am to have met such amazing colleagues… I think I’ve said that a time or two.  We always have so much fun when we get together and I always learn something new!  This shoot, one of the photographers was kind enough to let me tag along and use her adorable model.  I have to say that I really didn’t have much influence on the location or styling, but even so, I’m in love with some of these photos!!  Here are some of my favs…

Well, another year has come and gone and I can’t believe it!  It was a hard year, a great year, and by far my favorite year yet.  I have to say THANK YOU to each and every one of my clients.  YOU enable me to do what I love and have fun while doing it.  I’m so grateful for the business I had this year and appreciate each of you SO much.  Please keep in touch, I love hearing how things are going and seeing how your kids are growing!  I know that next year will be even better and can’t wait to see you all again!  I wish everyone a special MERRY Christmas and a HAPPY New Year!!  I leave you with a few photos of my tree.

A couple weeks ago I did a little mini session event for some awesome families.  As promised, here is a sneak peek for the adorable Hansen family!  Thank you for participating!

I had so much fun doing this session!  I got to drive a golf cart for the first time ever and there were some great spots on the course for photos.  Somehow we got pretty lucky with the weather, some clouds rolled in and a little breeze, so nice!  This couple is just too cute and “cuddly” as I like to say.  They tried to play off like they didn’t know what they were doing, but seriously I didn’t have to help them much.  Congratulations Nick and Darendy on your engagement!  I hope your wedding is fabulous!  Enjoy your sneek peak…

Sunday I was invited to attend the filming for a new show on HGTV called Showhouse Showdown.  The show is hosted by Bob Guiney from The Bachelor and was shot at the beautiful Harris Ranch Subdivision in Boise.  The homes were built by one of my favorite local builders Tahoe Homes.  See more info about the show here.  This event was lot’s of fun!  I was able to capture some fun behind the scenes photos of the filming, meet some nice people, eat some great food, and learn about some awesome local vendors, companies, and bands!  There were so many great sponsors there, check them out here.  Here are some photos from the day.

Last year I met some really awesome local photographers that are amazingly talented.  We meet every few months to talk about the business, share ideas, and maybe vent a little.  It is so amazing to have other photographers that are more than willing to share information and help you become better at what you do!  Yesterday we decided to do a little shootout using each other as models.  It was such a blast!!  I’m so glad to have met such nice local people that share the same love for photography as I do.  Meet my friends…

I just love this little boy!  I had the pleasure of getting to watch him all last weekend, so of course I had to do a session with him.  I’m sure he’s going to get away with a lot using that adorable grin of his!  I can’t tell you what a good boy he is.  He’s so sweet and smart, never once got into trouble and only cried when he dropped a toy on his toe, and that hair!?  What lucky parents and big sister he has!  Speaking of them, Finn is lucky too… they’re pretty awesome!
