No, it’s not Christmas yet… it’s just freezing and snowing already! These guys were such troopers for me yesterday. What a nice, beautiful family for me to spend my afternoon with! I was so impressed by how well the kiddos did! Usually I have to deal with breakdowns when it’s that cold outside, but these kiddos did great! Thank you Scott family! Here is your sneak peek!
Last week my sister Jenny and I held a little event in honor of breast cancer awareness month. We had a great turn out and so much fun. Thank you to everyone who participated!! Here are some collages with some photos from each session….

Is this family adorable or what?! It feels like I haven’t done a family session in forever, weddings have consumed all of my time. I’m so glad I was able to do this session. It was so fun and it’s always neat to see people you’ve known for years become parents! Thank you Joe, Lexi and handsome little man for hanging out with me and letting me capture your family. I don’t think I’ve had so much fun during a session as I did during this one maybe… ever! Working with 5 young children you never know what to expect as a photographer. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. These kids are not only adorable and sweet, they also listened really well. I can’t say if it came natural or if their parents threatened them before I got there 
Either way it was a great shoot! If your wondering why I chose to name this post what it is… the last photo sums it all up. The Chicken!
I was so excited for this session! I opened my door to see a cute little girl with pigtails and pink boots leery to come inside. I remembered her right away from a wedding I did last summer, one of my wonderful clients referred her sister to me! (Thank you Kayla) Then I met baby E. He was so tiny and sweet and cute! Already having baby fever, these two made it even greater! =) What can I say? This family is so nice and I’ve never met a more patient mother. To say she worked hard is an understatement! You know all that “fun” stuff that babies do that you expect to happen behind the scenes, but secretly hope that it doesn’t? Well, it happened. What can you do but laugh right?! Thank you mom and grandma for working so hard so I could get some great shots. And to big sister S… I was sad to see her leave… it was way to quiet around here without her bouncing! It’s so nice to be able to go to someone’s home and feel so welcome. That’s how I felt today when I arrived at this family’s home to take some photos! I love getting the chance to do an in home session where my client’s are comfortable, and we can take our time, chat and just have fun. And it’s pretty convenient when you can lay the baby down for a nap too! Thank you Cassie for welcoming me into your home, and trusting me with your kiddos! Here is your sneak peek.
Boy was it a cold session this morning! BUT it was so fun, I’m so lucky to get to meet so many nice families that want to work with me. Beautiful people, beautiful weather (aside from the freezing temp), beautiful dogs… what more could I ask for? This lovely family was referred to me by a new friend to whom I’m very grateful!
