month: December 2010
I just want to give a huge thank you to all of my 2010 clients! Let’s hope for an even better year in 2011… doesn’t that sound weird?! Here’s a look back on some of my fabulous clients from this year… please don’t be offended if your photos aren’t here, I have just too many! Have a safe and wonderful New Year’s Eve everyone!
Last night there was a total Lunar Eclipse. The last time this occurred during a Winter Solstice was more than three centuries ago on Dec. 21, 1638. It will happen again on Dec. 21, 2094, according to U.S. Naval Observatory. Lunar eclipses are safe to watch with the naked eye, unlike solar eclipses. The next total lunar eclipse will occur in June 2011 but will not be visible from North America. So, I tried to stay up to see it and this is what I was able to capture. I wasn’t able to see the entire show since I had to get up early
and missed the awesome orange glow…
I had a lot of fun working with these two. They decided to get married downtown at the courthouse and wanted some photos of them afterwards at the Boise Train Depot. They were easy to work with and lots of fun and “not picky!”
We braved the cold, snow, and fog and I teased Nicole that she was going to get frost bite on her toes… look at those shoes! Thank you Nicole and Dale for sharing a special time in your lives with me. Enjoy your sneak peak!
