N&K Engagement Session|Boise Wedding Photographer

Yesterday was such a perfect evening for an engagement session.  Lucky me, I had one!  I think I told these guys once or twice that they were pros.  I wasn’t kidding.  They were so natural and cute in front of the camera, it made my job so easy.  Not to mention they brought along their sweet dog for a couple shots and a really nice dog sitter. ;)  Hope you guys like your sneak peak, I can’t wait until your wedding next year!

Last weekend I drove to Burns, OR for a fantastic wedding at Urizer Ranch.  The ranch has been in the family for years and still has the original home, barn and other buildings around the property.  I couldn’t have asked for a better location, weather or a nicer family to work with.  I saw many ideas that I’d never seen done before.  They had photos of every married couple in the family they could fit hanging up… which I LOVED.  During the father-daughter and the mother-son dances they invited all other parents and their children to join them half way through.  It was so special to see all the parents dancing with their babies!  Thank you so much to Mike and Brandi for having me come out to your wedding.  I enjoyed every minute of it, including the horses, hungry cows, and the chicken dance! ;)  Hope you love your sneak
peek!

Ketchum Wedding|Boise Wedding Photographer

This past week I did a wedding in the lovely Ketchum Idaho.  It was held at The Knob Hill Inn, one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding that I’ve seen yet.  The day was crisp and breezy, I could feel Fall creeping in on our summery setting.  Of course I loved every detail.  The 50′s inspired dresses, the mixed floral arrangements, the home baked cookies, even the “guard dog.”  The bride and groom were like to giddy school kids… too cute!  Congratulations to the Smith and Zondag families.  Thank you for having me, I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back to visit.  Enjoy this sneak peak! :) I believe this stunning gift is called a shotski :)

Last Sunday I did my first wedding with a second shooter… Holly.  She was so great to work with and such a trooper, being in the early stages of pregnancy and all. :)  I loved the color choices and the unique details.  It’s fun to do a wedding a see something I’ve never seen before.  Here is a sneak peak of the wedding.   Thank you Amanda and Brian for sharing your day with us!  And thank you Holly so much for hanging in there with me!!!  If you haven’t seen Holly’s work you should check her out over at Aero Photography.

I was waiting to do Shawn and MariJo’s wedding for a long time.  Back in May I was the photographer for the bride’s sister’s wedding and couldn’t wait to see everyone again.  I just love the entire family and they always made me feel so comfortable.  Now the wedding has come and gone :( and it was just as fabulous as I knew it would be.  So many great details and new ideas that I hadn’t seen before.  I loved every minute of the day… ok maybe not the bug bites.  Anyway, this wedding just reminded me how I LOVE simple.  Simple is beautiful and so is this couple.  Congratulations to the bride and groom and their families.  Thank you for having me… here is your sneak peak. :)
